Very elegant, dark color with a purple edge on the glass. Generous and seductive nose of plum coated with dark chocolate. The full, round palate is supported by thick, well-integrated tannins and provides an abundance of chocolate and dried plums, which lingers on the long, velvety finish.
Vintage ports are only made with the best grapes of the year and receives thereby the highest quality of a port wine.
Limited vintage, total filling of 1333 bottles.
Processing:
Manual harvest. The grapes are completely destemmed before they are put into the wine press. Matured in wood for at least 1 years.
The wine did not undergo cold stabilization and is only slightly filtered.

Quinta do Javali is a small charming winery with 18 hectares of vineyards and extremely exclusive port wines in limited vintages. The Quinta do Javali winery is located on the left bank of the Douro River in the municipality of Nagozelo do Douro - S. João da Pesqueira, Portugal. A small town with a winemaking tradition since the beginning of port wine for export in the late 17th and early 18th centuries.
