Port wine Quinta do Javali Special Reserve. Brown-reddish color, typical of the oxidative profile, typical for this wine category. The nose is characterized by a note of dried fruit and roasted walnuts, hazelnuts, exotic woods. On the palate, the structure is elegant and balanced and underlines a fresh acidity.
Processing:
Manual harvest. The grapes are completely destemmed before they are put into the wine press. Matured in wood for at least 2 years.
The wine did not undergo cold stabilization and is only slightly filtered.

The Quinta do Javali winery is located on the left bank of the Douro River in the municipality of Nagozelo do Douro - S. João da Pesqueira, Portugal. A small town with a winemaking tradition since the beginning of port wine for export in the late 17th and early 18th centuries.
