Dark golden amber color with dark green nuances. The nose is characterized by very complex aromas of dried fruits, honey and a light "Vinagrinho", typical of a longer aging process. Very distinctive mouth with aromas, very balanced, round aromatic components, properly balanced with true acidity and a persistent finish.
Processing:
Manual harvest. The grapes are completely destemmed before they are put into the wine press. Matured in wood for at least 3 years.
The wine did not undergo cold stabilization and is only slightly filtered.

Quinta do Javali is a small charming winery with 18 hectares of vineyards and extremely exclusive port wines in limited vintages. The Quinta do Javali winery is located on the left bank of the Douro River in the municipality of Nagozelo do Douro - S. João da Pesqueira, Portugal. A small town with a winemaking tradition since the beginning of port wine for export in the late 17th and early 18th centuries.
