Organic Gin Premium
Only organic juniper, coriander, lavender and orange peel, which grow in Italy and Croatia, as well as cubeb pepper from Indonesia are used for this Organic Gin. This Organic Gin consists of 24 different herbs and spices, also called botanicals. Great emphasis is placed on the refreshing note of the gin, which is why lemon and orange peel are used. Not too overwhelming and harmonizing well with juniper and coriander. The cubeb pepper gives the O • Gin a fine, spicy note. The rest of the recipe remains a secret.
The herbs and spices are carefully weighed and then mixed. The botanicals are macerated for several days in the high-percentage organic wheat distillate so that the aromatic substances can be better absorbed by the alcohol. The mixture is then distilled in the still. The high percentage O • Gin matures for a year in a stainless steel container to develop its character even better. Only then is the gin married with primary spring water from the in-house spring in the Mühlviertel. The extremely high water quality gives the gin its mild and soft finish.
O • Gin sparkles in the glass like a diamond, crystal clear, with a slight hue of blue. On the palate it is characterized by mild spiciness, rich in finesse in the interplay of juniper and orange aromas, delicate acidity and refined sharpness in the finish. In 2015 O • Gin was awarded double gold at the China Wine & Spirits Award.
The own spring water flows through a granite rock and gneisses of the Bohemian granite mass.
