Leopold Spirits Organic Sloe Gin, bottled by hand.
This sloe gin is a 100% handmade creation. The base alcohol for this gin is made from highly distilled wheat. The wheat grows on the distillery's own organic farm in the Mostviertel. Organic sloe berries are mixed with the gin and macerated for six months, then the mixture is refined with organic beet sugar. The high-proof gin rests in the stainless steel container for up to a year allowing it to further develop its character. After maturation the gin is adjusted to 27% vol. drinking strength.
The distillery's own spring water runs through granite rock and gneisses of the Bohemian granite mass.
