Piment cook book
Description:
Wahabi Nouri, a German chef with Moroccan roots, is the owner and chef of his own restaurant "pimento" in Hamburg. Growing up in Germany, its cuisine is greatly influenced by the influences of his North African homeland. In his first cookbook, it has managed to build a bridge between the classic French haute cuisine and all original oriental cuisine countries. Thus we find in his book both a recipe for rack of lamb stuffed with artichoke and potato Maximes, next to a tagine from Sot l'y Laisse, but also an interpretation of veal sausage or a tarte tatin. In addition to numerous traditional recipes, there are also basic recipes for Moroccan items like pickled lemon, Charmoula or couscous. A very special treat, the photographs of this unique cookbook are: Wahabi Nouri is specially traveled with photographer Klaus Arras to Morocco quite close to capture the mood and atmosphere of the country, its markets and kitchens. Combined with the stunning food photographs, a picture of the work is composed Nouri and shows which factors influence him. The whole is supported by a layout that contributes subtly to make the delicious sensuality of the kitchen of Wahabi Nouri noticeable.
